Mount Everest Is Not Chocolate

There will be nothing about chocolate today unless there is an Everest Bar or something like that.

I was poking around the net today and got an email from a friend telling me to have a look at this page.

Here it is for you to see. If you are into mountains you are going to like it for sure. Zoom in and you can even see people standing around.

Look at the yellow and red rocks you will notice at the bottom of the picture. Zoom in. I had no clue there where so many climbers!

If you look you will see the "Everest ER" pictured above. It is not that hard to pick out although it is not the largest tent it is close.

29,000 ft. is a long way up, what a thrill it must be to get up there and wave at the Gods.

I have a quiz of sorts for you this day. Of course,it is about chocolate and I am hoping you will pass it along.

It is not my quiz, but was forwarded to my from a friend who has a blog called Full Time RV Ideas. She has started a blog about her dream of living full time in an RV. It is a young blog and she is new to this. Please visit and maybe comment so as to encourage the blog to row.

Back to the quiz now: You can see it at this LINK. I tested it and it works.

Don't forget to have a look at my Easy Home Made Chocolate web page. I need some hits and comments there.

Here is some filler if you need more content.

Chocolate Calamari For Your Fisherman Friend

Here is another winner from the folks at my favorite site - http://www.instructables.com. This time it is something that I don't think to many of you would think of on Valentines day.

If you have a friend who has a love of seafood then I suggest you get busy and whip up a batch of these chocolate squid. They sure look good to me. I am a seafood lover, but only cooked seafood. No raw fish for me. Sushi? No thanks!

The link to the Calamari cook up is HERE.

My Dad (a commercial fisherman) used to say "if it smells like fish it is going bad, throw it overboard." This is a very good rule to follow. Fresh fish does not have a strong fishy smell.

While you are getting your squid ready to cook you may like to read about the source of some of the squid people are being sold. I guess it does not smell like fish, so you could say it is okay?

The link to this story is here: INTESTINES?

Gross you out? Want to have a little squid Sushi? Mmmm.......
