Do You Want To Chocolate Your Next Chess Game?

How do you like this chess board?

Look closely. Chocolate!

Delicious Looking Game Pieces

I was goofing around on the 'net looking for something to add to my blog and webpage and found THIS on Instructables.. Being a bit of a player I thought maybe others would like to give it a try.

The nice thing is - when you are done you can eat your opponents pieces so he cannot ask for "double or nothing". He has no pieces to remount his attack.

If you like it pass it on please.

Looking for a way to get a lot more fruits and vegetables into your diet, but not a big fan of either one? Consider juicing as an option. You can cover up the flavors that you don't really like and still get all the health benefits from it. Use the ideas here, for getting started.

The best time to fire up your juicer is a half hour before any meal. Drink the fresh juice on an empty stomach. Drinking juice on an empty stomach is helpful to absorb the most nutrients quickly and effectively. Fruit juices should be consumed in the mornings because digestive energy is the lowest in the mornings.

If you want to improve your nutrition, give juicing a try. Juicing makes it easy to get all of your daily recommended servings of fruits and vegetables. While you will miss out on the fiber these foods provide, you will get all of the vitamins and minerals, and juice tastes great too!

Buying a masticating juicer will allow the juice you make to have it's nutrients break down much slower, meaning you can take your time in drinking it or even store it for a while. It will also leave as much of the natural nutrients intact as possible, giving you the most healthy juice to drink.

To lose weight quickly but healthfully, try juicing. Simply replace one to two meals per day with fresh green juice. There are countless recipes available online, but you can make your own by mixing a green leafy vegetable with one or two fruits. You will be getting more vitamins and minerals than the average American, but fewer calories.

When it comes to juicing, one thing that you want to keep in mind is the fact that despite the time and money that you are losing by making your own juice, you will find that it most likely tastes better than store bought juice. This is important to give you a good reason to keep on juicing and influence others to do the same.

Not only will you save money by juicing and not having to buy expensive juices at the store, but you'll also be able to reduce your vitamin and supplement intake. Being healthy will also mean you'll take less prescription drugs, saving you even more money just by keeping in good shape!

If you have an ulcer, try cabbage juice! It's been shown to help heal an ulcer while you're treating it with traditional medicine, speeding up your treatment. Many fruits and vegetables can help heal a variety of ailments, so do a little research to find what will help you with your problems!

If you're feeling bloated or retaining water, put the right ingredients into your juice to help flush you out! Celery, cranberry, cucumber, and watermelon are all recommended to help your system let the water go, and they also hold many nutrients, vitamins, and other healthy benefits that are vital to good health.

When it comes to juicing, one thing that you want to keep in mind is to make sure that you have space set aside in your kitchen for your juicing machine and for the preparation of your ingredients. This is important so that you are efficient and so that you are motivated to make juice as often as possible. Having to clean clutter out of the way would just be a deterrent.

If you needed advice on juicing, or just on how you can incorporate a lot of extra nutrition into your diet, then you came to the right place. This article has shown you lots of interesting ideas on how to get fruits and vegetables into your diet, as well as how you can be a power juicer.

You Can Make Your Coffee More Exciting

Coffee anyone?
Coffee anyone? (Photo credit: Natashalatrasha)

Where do you get your coffee from? Or, if you're newly interested in coffee, you may be overwhelmed by the technology available for brewing. Explore all of your options before settling on a particular kind of coffee. Read on to learn more about what your coffee options are.

Exercise a bit of caution when selecting water for your coffee. If the water you use does not have a favorable taste, your coffee will not have a great taste either. You should also pay attention to the mineral content of your water. Unless you do so, the coffee may taste bitter.

Do not reheat brewed coffee. An old wive's tale say that it will release harmful chemicals; however, this is untrue. However, chemical compounds in the coffee decompose after sitting for an extended period, or when exposed to microwaves. Your coffee may come bitter, acidic, or weak.

Coffee should be drunk in moderation. Drinking too much can make you dehydrated. Try to drink some water to balance out a cup of coffee. Keep a close eye on how much coffee you drink during the day.

Do you sweeten your coffee with artificial sweeteners? Artificial sweetener can cause your coffee to taste rather bland. Try drinking black coffee and adding just a pinch of raw sugar to enhance the flavor. If you need to use sweetener, try using only half of a packet.

Try joining the social network of your favorite coffee shop or coffeehouse. These sites generally offer specials and promotions. You might find that they have discounts or coupons, too, only for their followers.

Remove your pot of coffee from the burner within ten minutes of it brewing. Coffee gets a bitter taste if left on the burner after that. Use a thermos to keep coffee warm instead.

Iced coffees have a tendency to get watered down as the ice melts. To avoid this problem, fill an ice cube tray with leftover coffee. Frozen coffee cubes melting in your hot coffee just boost the taste while they melt.

If you find you need to reduce the sugar you use in your coffee, have no fear, there are alternatives available to you. Agave nectar is relatively new to most grocery stores in the past few years, and the great thing about it is that it will not affect your blood sugar. Splenda and Stevia are just two low-calorie sweeteners that many coffee drinkers use to replace sugar.

There are a wide array of choices when considering what coffee to buy. You can purchase coffee in a store or online. Whatever type of coffee you prefer, it is out there. In order to brew the most flavorful coffee, utilize the suggestions you have just read.
